Bay Area working mom who is going through a Bleach phase! Who wouldn't want to be a 15-year old shinigami?! I'm also going through a huge samurai phase and love my hubby for getting me the Criterion Collection of Akira Kurosawa films! Also interested in fanfic for: Samurai Champloo, Bleach, Death Note, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Descent into Darness, and Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin). Would love to hear other anime/manga series with similar themes. Have been checking out Serial Experiments Lain and Ergo Proxy, but I tend to enjoy the Edo/Meiji Period a bit better.

I am going to start sewing/costuming again... I'm taking my disability in stride and going to figure out how to manage the loss of motor control! Seize the day!

I also greatly enjoy my animals; we have 12. Three dogs and cats, and six chickens (a capon and hen of each: Black and Blue Silkies and Mille Fleur Bantams). So enjoyable!
